Friends of the Poor® Benefit 'Church Choir Challenge' returns

2017 Choir Challenge web sidebar logoOur 9th Annual Friends of the Poor® Benefit once again plays host to our popular "Church Choir Challenge" on April 30, 2017 at Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. The contest is open to any adult church choir of any denomination throughout Cook and Lake counties. Traditional or contemporary church music is welcome.

Five finalists chosen via online voting are invited to perform live at the benefit to determine a Grand Prize winner.

The Grand Prize winning choir receives a $2,500 donation, and each runner-up choir finalist receives a $1,000 donation. 

Online voting runs March 22 thru April 5 at www.choirchallenge.org

The Friends of the Poor® Benefit includes Drury Lane's famous champagne brunch, a Grand Prize Car Raffle, live auction, and fun games of chance.

Net proceeds to support programs and services to help those in need throughout Cook and Lake counties.

Tickets for the benefit and car raffle may be purchased at www.svdpbenefit.org.
