Youth Opportunities

Building young leaders for tomorrow's future

Teen Thrift Store VolunteersSVdP Chicago is committed to providing teens and young adults with opportunities to give back in the spirit of our founder, Frédéric Ozanam and Patron St. Vincent de Paul. Starting a SVdP Youth Conference is a great way to get started.

If students can get involved in giving back to a cause or helping their community in a way that matters to them, the lasting benefits can be far-reaching. The satisfaction and pride that come from helping others can be life changing and community service can lead to volunteering becoming a lifelong habit.

Pope Francis Center Teen VolunteersVolunteering for SVdP is a rich and rewarding experience. As a volunteer, you will benefit from:
• The satisfaction of helping others
• Sharing your skills and teaching others
• Learning new skills
• The sense of community and friendship

"I want all young people with both head and heart to assemble for some charitable work." - Frédéric Ozanam
