Electric vs. No Electric

Electric vs. No ElectricSome of our clients, due to lack of funds, have difficulty paying utility bills such as the electric bill. When the electric bill in not paid in a timely matter the client receives notice that the electric will be shut off by a certain date unless arrangements have been made to pay on this bill. St. Vincent de Paul has been called to help with this as it can mean the difference of clients having or not having electricity.

Aside from the basic uses of electricity such as heat, cooling, lighting and cooking there are medical conditions which require electricity in order for certain medical equipment to function and without the use of this equipment a person's health becomes at risk. Electricity can never be taken for granted and can be a real necessity in certain situations.
